Meridian Flores Tours offers cycling excursions through the lanes that are not usually shared by most travelers or tour operators.
This tour is focused more on rural life in the villages. Route of travel is designed specifically through the exotic forests, coffee plantations, bamboo forests and rice fields.
Tourists are invited to experience the realities of rural community life, witnessing simple and traditional farming management, coffee farming patterns and the whole process both for daily consumption and for commercial purposes.
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from the hotels in Bajawa to the top of the hill Wolobobo.
Witness the sun rise on top of Wolobobo mountain. It is also the perfect point in viewing the amazing landscape of the hill and two legendaries Volcanoes; Inerie and Ebulobo. Trekking on the freshest mountainous air around the crater of Wolobobo.
Breakfast will be served in the open area of the mountain.
After breakfast the tour participants will begin to ride a bicycle to start the trip down the mountain. The journey will pass through the gardens and fields belonging to the local community, passing the local coffee plantations. Stop sometimes to observe Coffee plants. Proceeds to Rakalaba village and the villages of Mangulewa and Bobajo. There, we will witness the village with conventional houses but in the middle of the village, we still see Ngadhu and Bhaga which are still well preserved as a place of worship to their ancestors.
The trip will be continued to UPH Papa Wiu. There we will witness the processing of coffee both for commercial purposes and for local consumption. There we will be welcome to taste the best coffee directly from its source center.
Next cycling trip will continue to Bajawa through Late to Ogi waterfalls. Relax time around the waterfalls. Cycling trip ends here
We will proceed to Bajawa by car. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant. After Lunch, we will board the car to be transferred back to your hotel in Bajawa
